DINOSAURS

Dinosauria is the group that includes all known dinosaurs, both living and extinct. It is divided into two sub-groups, the "bird hipped" ornithischia and the "lizard hipped" saurischia. Notable members of ornithischia include Triceratops and Iguanodon. Famous members of saurischia include Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor, and the common pigeon. Due to the incredible diversity of dinosaurs, they have been divided into three separate groups: Herbivores, Omnivores, and Carnivores.

Plant eating dinosaurs could be found on both sides of the dinosaur family tree.

Very few extinct omnivorous dinosaurs are known. However, these few are some of the weirdest dinosaurs ever discovered.

So far, carnivorous dinosaurs are only known among the theropod branch of the saurischia.
